Budding artists will have an opportunity to showcase their skills and have their work on display in Workington.
Allerdale council is holding a competition to create colourful banners to promote the town.
People should create artwork that reflects the theme of Why I Love My Town.
Organisers want to encourage people of all ages to think about what makes Workington special.
The 15 winning designs will be made into full size banners and displayed in the town centre.
Age categories are 11 and under, 12 to 15, 16 to 18 and 19 and over.
Entrants should draw their designs vertically on half of a A4 sheet.
The banners will hang vertically from lampposts in the town.
They need to include their name, age, contact details and a parent or guardian's signature if under 16.
Entries can be handed in to the Times & Star, 21-23 Oxford Street, Workington.
The closing date is June 10.
