Two thousand rubber ducks will be racing down a Cockermouth river on Saturday.

The first one under the bridge will win its owner £300. The race is organised annually by the town's Round Table. Proceeds will be going to Cockermouth Titans ARLFC, who are supporting them.

The ducks will be launched into the River Cocker at 2pm on Saturday. They will start at the Greenway bridge and head to South Street footbridge.

Tickets cost £1 and are available from Veeva, The Paper Shop and RTSN Huddart Supplies, in Cockermouth. Owner of the 2nd duck wins £150 and the third £50.
