The music of Thin Lizzie, Guns n Roses and Queen will be among the songs filling Workington's Derwent Park stadium on July 1 as the Reboot festival returns.

Tickets are on sale now for the one-day tribute extravaganza, with early bird prices available until the end of March.

Last year's festival save musical tributes to David Bowie, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Oasis, Stereophonics and the Foo Fighters.

This year's event will feature local Thin Lizzie tribute act Five and Dangerous and covers band Mojo Rising from Cockermouth.

In addition, Guns Not Roses, The Jam’d, Kazabian and Flash, a tribute to Queen, will finish off the main stage line up.

A second stage will play host to the best of Cumbria’s local music scene with performances from acts from around the county.

There will be a bar, food outlets and family-friendly activities and entertainment on offer throughout the day including a fairground, arts and crafts, giant board games and more.

The festival runs from 1pm to 10pm.

Adult tickets are available at an early-bird rate of £17.50 until March 31 and £20 thereafter.

Children 10 and over are £10, with under-10s going free.

The festival is organised by cnevents and supported by Allerdale council.

Marie Whitehead, director of cnevents, said: "We’re delighted to be working with Allerdale Borough Council and Workington Town to bring Reboot back in 2017.

"Last year’s event was a great success and the line-up this year is fantastic. It’s a really brilliant day out for the whole family and a chance to listen to some of the nation’s favourite music for a fraction of the cost of seeing the real thing."
