A COUNTY charity will be hosting a free emergency planning workshop in Cockermouth later in the month.
CVS will be staging the event at Christ Church, South Street, on Tuesday, January 31, from 10am to 12.30pm.
A spokesperson said: "Emergencies can significantly disrupt our daily lives and whilst we can’t always prevent them happening, we can plan ahead to minimise the impact.
"Our short introductory awareness sessions, which will help to identify a shared understanding of the risks we face in our workplace, homes and communities, and highlight opportunities to develop personal and household emergency plans, as well as business continuity plans for your group or organisation."
