An emergency response group set up in Cockermouth in a bid to ensure the town is better prepared for future flooding will hold a presentation and drop-in on Saturday.
Cockermouth Emergency Response Group organisers are hoping more householders will sign up, so they can be added to a database of people who need help.
More than 60 volunteers have signed up already but more are welcome.
The event will be held in The Hub, Market Place, from 9.30am. There will be a presentation on the group's progress over the past six months and the priorities for the next six months, at 10am.
From 10.30am until 2pm there will be drop-in sessions during which people can meet the CERG team, view the draft response plan, register their property or as a volunteer. People who can offer a resource, such as a large vehicle or storage facility, are also asked to register.
