There's a packed weekend of events lined up in West Cumbria for all the family.

Tomorrow, Seaton Children's Carnival kicks off at 1pm with judging at Church Road, Causeway Road and the village green. The procession will set off at 1.30pm.

Aspatria Gala Day 's procession sets off from Aspatria Business Park on Park Road at 1.15pm and will head towards Aspatria Rugby Union Club on Station Road.

Silloth Vintage Rally takes place on Saturday and Sunday.

There’ll be steam traction engines, motorcycles, vintage and classic cars and tractors, commercial vehicles, military vehicles, and pushbikes.

In Maryport , on Saturday there will be a tea party at All Souls Church from 2pm to 5pm.

Linda Radcliffe, town mayor, is holding a family fun day with free ice cream for the children.

On Sunday, Maryport Festivals and Cumbria Community Foundation will say thank you to anyone who helped in the floods and anyone affected with a concert on Marine Road.

The event, from 2pm to 10pm, will include artists Ian Siegal and Jon Amor, the Brian Rawson Band, South Quay, Red Fish, Anthony Arton, Mama Sang and the Robots and the Bullfrogs.

Also on Sunday, the Settlement on High Street is having a Queen's birthday family fun day.

There is a climbing wall, bouncy castle, face painting, tea and coffee, a limited barbecue and a special birthday cake from JudiBakes.

The celebrations continue on Monday with a family gala from 4pm to 8pm. Councillors from Brooklands, Ewanrigg and Ellenfoot have pooled their £1,000 each grant to provide four hours of live entertainment and a family fun day. Cindy Hoten, Steve Carini and Frankie will appear.

There will be a climbing wall, rodeo bull, gladiator ring, adult assault course and a surf machine.

Ewanrigg and Netherton Tenants' and Residents' Association is preparing party bags for first 110 children on the site. All activities are free and there will be a catering stall for anyone who wishes to buy food.
