A West Cumbrian group is ensuring people know what to do in future floods.
Flimby Flood Action Group has produced a pamphlet, Flooding In Flimby, which has been printed with sponsorship from Cumbria Community Foundation and Flimby Wind Farm Community Fund.
The comprehensive pamphlet contains important numbers.
It sets out details on how to be prepared and to make a plan and what action to take when a flood occurs.
The group is to hold a drop-in on Friday, August 11, to talk about issues that have affected individuals, share ideas on what to keep on an emergency box and leave comments about the Environment Agency's Flimby plan.
It will also show the new flood sack that can be used instead of sandbags in an emergency.
Sacks will be available on the day but will be limited to five per household.
The drop-in will be held at Flimby Social Club between 3pm and 6pm.
