Two legendary American rock bands collide in a live tribute show in Workington this month.

A Foreigner’s Journey - as the name suggests - bring together the multi-million selling hits by 80s rockers Foreigner and Journey when they visit the Carnegie Theatre on Saturday January 28.

Cold As Ice, Feels Like The First Time and I Want to Know What Love Is from the former, and the latter’s Don’t Stop Believin’, Only the Young, and Who’s Crying Now are among the dozens of chart hits played live in this two-hour extravaganza.

As well as appearing at the Rhodes Rock festival in Greece, the band have also headlined in major venues across the UK and received backing from Foreigner’s bassist Jeff Pilson.

The band have toured throughout the last six years and headlined a number of festivals, safely establishing themselves as one of the most respected and best-known tribute acts around.

Cherry-picking the very best songs from each of the two bands, they have an extensive repertoire to pick from. Both bands have achieved massive commercial and critical success and both sold in excess of 80 million albums.

With their visits to these shores being few and far between, this is one of the only chance to hear the songs played to a professional standard in the region.

The show in Workington gets under way at 8pm, and tickets are available from the Carnegie box office.
