A Cockermouth hotel which has hosted many wedding receptions over the years is now also offering couples the chance to tie the knot there.
Hundith Hill Hotel has been granted a wedding licence and is looking forward to hosting wedding ceremonies in the future.
Phil and Joan Butterworth have owned the hotel for more than 30 years and employ 22 full-time staff.
"Having a wedding licence is a natural progression in some respects," said Mr Butterworth.
"We wanted to provide the full service. It appeals to many people to stay on one site."
They have recently had a pergola built in the grounds, which overlook the Lorton valley and the fells beyond.
"We have a spectacular backdrop, it's fantastic," said Mr Butterworth.
"We have also done work on the rose garden, which was overgrown, and created a walkway."
