An evening of jazz music accompanied by animations produced by local children will be held at the Kirkgate Centre in Cockermouth tonight.
Glasgow drummer, producer, composer and teacher Stu Brown brings Twisted Toons Vol 2 to the stage, promising an exciting gig for everyone from jazz lovers to film and animation fans to families with young children.
The Stu Brown sextet features Scottish jazz musicians Brian Molley, Martin Kershaw, Tom MacNiven, Tom Gibbs and Roy Percy.
It will be their second visit to the Kirkgate Centre, following a packed performance in 2012.
Local schools have been involved in creating cartoons for the show.
The Twisted Toons project, performing cartoon scores by Carl Stalling, Scott Bradley and music by Raymond Scott, began in 2008 and has proved popular with audiences of all ages.
Tickets are £12 for adults (£8 concs), with a £28 family ticket on offer.
To book, call on 01900 826448 or visit the box office, Billy Bowman Music on Lowther Went or www.thekirkgate.com
