A Workington man was taken to hospital by air ambulance with serious injuries after his car crashed into a parked tractor and car in Workington.
The 25-year-old was injured after the Volkwagen Golf he was driving left the road and his a Peugeot car and a New Holland tractor parked next to the road at Castle Gardens on the A596.
The crash happened at about 8.30am on Saturday.
The driver was taken to the Royal Preston Hospital by air ambulance with head and facial injuries which were believed to be serious but not life-threatening.
The road was closed and diversions were in place until about 4pm on Saturday.
