Day tickets have gone on sale for West Cumbria's Northbound music festival. 

The event will take place from Friday, August 7, to Sunday, August 9, at Wellington Farm just outside Cockermouth. 

It has got five stages and a host of other attractions for the seasoned festival-goer as well as families or groups who want more than just the music. 

Headliners at Northbound will include Public Service Broadcasting, fresh from touring with the Kaiser Chiefs, who will be joined by Leeds favourites The Sunshine Underground and East London band Dexters. 

Other confirmed bands include Cumbrian favourites Colt 45, who will close the festival on the Sunday night. 

Dub Pistols will head up the opening Friday night. The Beat and Echotape will also appear on the main stage on Saturday. 

Award-winning family entertainers Angel Gardens will bring their mix of creative, fun crafts and family friendly cabaret, complete with arty workshops, a dedicated teen area, equipped with hair straighteners and phone chargers. 

There will also be baby yoga and massage, music, arts and play activities. 

Other attractions at the three day festival will include a healing area, complete with massage and relaxation treatments. 

There will also be an acoustic stage, and the Anything Goes dome, with silent discos, comedy, films, DJs and more. 

Day tickets are priced as follows: Adults: Friday £20, Saturday £25, Sunday £15 Youth (11-17 years) Friday £15, Saturday £20, Sunday £10. Admission for under-10s is free. 

Camping is available for those who want to stay for the whole weekend, with tickets costing just £50 for adults and £30 for 11-17-year-olds – which includes three days’ music festival and three nights’ camping. 

There are only a few spaces left for motorhomes, and glamping in the Yippee Yurts has luxury packages available.
