Maryport residents are invited to help clean up their town next week.
The town council is holding community cleans on Hillside, Netherton, Ewanrigg Road and Flimby.
The idea came from Councillor Sharon Stamper after a Love Maryport community clean around the harbour.
Allerdale council is supplying equipment and town councillors will join the clean. Refreshments will also be provided by the council for any volunteers.
Volunteers will meet at 10am each day and work until 2pm.
On Monday people are asked to meet in the Your Derwent & Solway office at Hillside.
Wednesday’s starting point is All Soul’s Church on Church Terrace, Netherton.
On Thursday they will meet at the Flimby community centre on West Lane and on Friday at the Ewanrigg Community Centre on Ennerdale Road, Maryport.
