Traffic on the main road from Maryport through Dearham will be disrupted by roadworks next week.
The A594 will be closed from Netherhall corner to Dearham crossroads for five nights from Sunday.
The works will be carried out under road closures between 7pm and 6am each night.
Traffic will be diverted via the A595 and A596 via Thursby roundabout.
Road markings and cleaning gullies will also be refreshed during the closures.
Meanwhile, roadworks are being carried out this week from Sunday to Thursday between Great Broughton junction and the A595 Belle Vue roundabout.
