Cyclists in West Cumbria can get into Tour of Britain mood early with two celebration cycling events on September 6.
British Cycling will hold Sky Ride Local events from Maryport to Allonby and in Cockermouth two days before Sir Bradley Wiggins and his fellow competitors ride through the area.
The guided rides take in scenic routes and are part of the second phase of the Sky Ride Local programme.
Hundreds of riders of all abilities have already taken to their bikes and explored Cumbria through the programme.
The Cockermouth ride takes place at 11am and the Maryport to Allonby event is at 1pm.
