A talk on Cumbrian Minerals will be held on Thursday in High Lorton.
Ian Tyler is a local historian specialising in mining history. The event has been organised by Lorton and Derwent Fells Local History Society.
It will take place in Yew Tree Hall, at 7.30pm. Entry is £3, which includes refreshments.
