Workington will be alive with the sound of bagpipes when a celebration event to mark Scotland and New Zealand's Four Nations match in the town takes place.
The teams will face off in the rugby league competition at the Zebra Claims Stadium on Friday.
The event is being organised by Allerdale council and Workington Town Council and will take place on the same day as the match around The Hub in the town centre.
Streets will be decked out with flags and banners and shops are being encouraged to decorate their windows, put on special offers and extend their opening hours.
School pupils and Scottish dancers will perform and there will be a rodeo rugby ball, a climbing wall, haggis and New Zealand lamb burger tasting, a giant crossword.
People will also be able to enter a prize draw to win two tickets for the match.
The event will run from 11am to 6pm.
