Wilko Johnson has been announced as the headliner for this year's Maryport Blues Festival.
Johnson, considered one of the founding influences of the British punk movement, is best known as the guitarist of 1970s band Dr Feelgood.
Johnson also starred in the first two TV series of Game of Thrones as the mute executioner.
His 2014 album, Going Back Home, was a collaboration with The Who vocalist Roger Daltry.
Since then, the pair have toured together and Daltry has also appeared on stage unannounced and uncredited on occasions.
Johnson last appeared in Cumbria at Solfest, at Tarns, near Aspatria in 2011.
In 2013, he was diagnosed with terminal pancreatic cancer. He refused chemotherapy. After radical surgery, however, he has survived to make music again.
Also confirmed to play the three-day festival, which takes place from July 28 to July 30, are Aaron Keylock, Blackballed, Chris Bevington and Friends, Connie Lush, Henrik Freischlader, Kyla Brox, Matt Schofield, Secure Unit, The C Sharpe Band, The Jar Family and The Jon Amor Band.
Tickets are due to go on sale soon.
