A crowd of star-struck fans descended on a Workington clothes shop after two celebrities were seen shopping there.
Sophie Kasaei and James Tindale, from the reality TV show Geordie Shore, dropped in at The Fashion Lounge on Jane Street last Thursday.
News soon got out, and about 100 fans turned up to get autographs and pictures.
The pair were in town to make a public appearance at the nearby Chasers bar.
Daniel Couzens, The Fashion Lounge director, sent a Twitter message to James to see if he would go to the shop.
Sales have rocketed after James bought several T-shirts from the Dead Legacy and Fly 53 brands sold there. Sophie bought two dresses, a jacket, handbag and earrings.
Karen Couzens, Daniel’s mother and shop owner, said: “We have sold a lot of the T-shirts that James bought and we have had to restock these brands.”
She said Sophie had expressed an interest in opening her own fashion boutique in South Shields and had been asking for tips.
Leanne Hunter, sales assistant, said: “It was great. They both loved the shop.”

Have your say
I agree with Andy, i would definatley rather see the Meerkats, anyday.Certainly more personality.
I would sooner have seen the Meerkats from the TV advert than these 'Who are they, never heard of' characters.
