There's plenty going on in West Cumbria for all the family.
Here's our short guide to what's on this weekend.
Lakeland Livestock Centre, off the A66
Friday 10am to 6pm, Saturday 10am to 5pm
Shepherdess Alison O’Neill, will be among the attractions at this year's Woolfest, bringing members of her flock of sheep from the Howgills area near Sedbergh.
As well as exhibiting throughout the event, she’ll be talking about Cumbria’s native sheep breeds.
Other VIP guests are Herdwick sheep and Border collies from nearby Keswick who are part of the flock that featured at the Theatre by the Lake earlier this year.
Royal British Legion, Seaton
Friday 7pm
Singers, dancers, comedians and performers of all kinds will take part in the first Seaton's Got Talent.
Over-16s entries re in for a chance to win £200 and children up to and 15 can win £100.
A further prize of recording studio time will also be awarded to a soloist or group at the discretion of the judges.
Various venues, Cockermouth town centre
Friday to Sunday
Live performances, talks, tours and family activities come to Cockermouth this weekend in a range of town centre venues including Wild Zucchinis Bistro and The Kirkgate Centre.
Workington town centre, 10.45am start
The seventh annual Armed Forces Day parade will be held in Workington.
A parade will march through town towards Vulcan Park for a drumhead service before heading off to the Royal British Legion Club in the afternoon.
Curwen Park, Workington
Saturday 1pm to 11pm, Sunday 1pm to 6pm
A two-day event featuring a host of leading local names and tributes to the biggest names in indie and classic rock.
Tribute band Oasisnt headline on Saturday and State of Quo will close the festival on Sunday.
The event is over-18s only tomorrow and families primarily on Sunday.
Tickets are available from Henry’s Bar and Grill, Hair Workshop and P&D News, all in Workington.
Market Square, Keswick
A weekend of music
Live music will entertain visitors in Keswick this weekend, with performances from choirs bands and solo artists lined up.
Dearham
Saturday
Entrants should be at the top of the Went by 1pm for judging at 1.30pm. Dozens of people are expected to take part.
The parade sets off at 2pm.
