A WEST Cumbrian church has been transformed into an art gallery for the week.
Paintings for show and sale, antique and vintage crafts and a selection of quilts from internationally renowned quilter, Celia Eddy, are amongst the items on show.
Local author Margaret Poland is showing handmade rugs depicting Maryport scenes which she has made from a loom that has been in the family for 100 years.
Lilian Collins, who has organised the exhibition has her own work on display and Diane Robertson has exhibited her stitched church kneelers.
Mrs Robertson said the exhibition has only been made possible because Netherhall school has given the church the loan of its exhibition boards.
All proceeds will go to the Kirkby Street church.
