Three charities have been presented with £1,000 each following a series of fundraisers.
Pamela McClintock, Amanda Richardson, Wendy Cottier and Sharon Hadfield organised events including charity nights, coffee mornings, raffles and a shop.
Pamela died last December after a battle with cancer, but Amanda, Wendy and Sharon are carrying on with the fundraising.
It took the friends about 12 months to raise the £3,000.
During her life Pamela raised more than £60,000 for charity in 16 years.
Representatives from Meningitis UK, Hospice at Home West Cumbria and Macmillan Cancer Support all collected a cheque each on behalf of the charities.
The presentation took place at Workington's Railway Club.
An event called Pam's Night will also take place in November.
