Colt 45 will headline the second Touch Down Festival in Workington.

The event, which sold out last year, will be back in town on July 23 across three town centre venues.

The Cumbrian band performed at the debut of the festival last year and will be back again to support the local festival.

Last month, festival organisers Thomas McNichol and Andrew Hymers announced the first 10 acts - The Lottery Winners, Bear Arms, Youth Salute, Antony Flick Lister, Ben Rowlands, As Long As We Live, The Sheepwagon, Graces, Emma Dockeray and Lee Sharp.

They have now announced four other acts to complete the line-up.

Workington's Stand Up Arcade, Seek Solace in Ruin and Luke Matear will perform alongside Millom's pop-punk band Willowside Park.

The festival will spread across Lounge 41, Vodoo Bar and Bart's, all on Jane Street.

Tickets are £10 and are available at Richard James' Newsagents, P&D Newsagents and at www.touchdownfestival.bigcartel.com

  • Colt 45 launch their new EP Snakes & Ladders tonight at the Brickyard in Carlisle.

The Carlisle-based punk trio will play all six tracks from Snakes & Ladders at the Fisher Street venue, and they are joined by a strong line-up of support acts.
