Theatre Royal’s Second Star Youth Theatre will hold a six-day workshop from Monday for Cinderella, which will be staged next Saturday at Workington’s Theatre Royal on Washington Street.
Millie Hardy-Sims, director, said: “Theatre can allow young people to explore their own personalities as well as take on new ones in character.
“It gives them an opportunity to have fun for a week and hang around with their friends while producing something wonderful and to be proud of at the same time.
“We accept actors aged between 10 and 18 and everybody who auditions will get a part regardless of previous experience or skills.”
Cinderella will be performed on Saturday, August 27, at 6.30pm and tickets cost £5.
