Members of a Workington dance school showed off their best routines to bag 32 trophies at a competition.

Theatre Crazy, based at the Clay Flatts Industrial Estate, entered 50 members into the ICC Summer Jam in Blackpool earlier this month.

Students from four age categories, minis (up to age 6), youth (eight to 11 years), junior (12-15) and senior (older than 15) took part.

They entered a range of team and individual events.

Six members were awarded first place, nine got second place awards, four finished in third and two finished in fourth place in their events.

This is the first year Theatre Crazy have entered the annual competition.

Rehearsals are held every week at the studio.

Jenny Brice, principal, said: "I'm exceptionally proud. It's the end of competition season and don't normally do a competition this late on.

"Some of the routines we had only finished the week before. The kids have worked really hard."
