A group of cyclists tackled the C2C to raise money for York Hospital's oncology department.
The team decided to support the cause after their friend Glenn McNichol, 36, originally from Keswick, was diagnosed with cancer.
Glenn, who now lives in York, has been helped by the department and is having ongoing treatment.
The cyclists did the C2C ride from Tynemouth to St Bees over three days.
Despite torrential rain, the team completed the route and were greeted by friends and family at the finish.
Keswick Cricket Club also put on a barbecue for the group.
More than £2,700 has been raised for the oncology department through donations on their online JustGiving page.
The cyclists who took part were Ian Dunn, 35, Michael Graham, 33, both of St John's Street, Andrew Thorburn, 35, of the Hopes, Rob Carter, 35, of Brundholme Road, Colin Bland, 34, of The Hawthornes and Paul Rutland, 37, of Windebrowe Avenue, all Keswick, Daniel Askew, 38, of Leeds, Chris McNichol, 33, of Jenkin Hill, Thornthwaite, Mark Dunn, 37, of Ashcroft Close, Braithwaite and Matthew Athersmith, 27, of North Yorkshire.
