Three friends have raised at least £400 for charities by completing a sponsored walk from Workington to Allonby.
Alishia Burton, 11, of Workington, Katy Kerr, 12, of High Harrington, and Ruby Hutchison, 11, of Tallentire were set the task of doing something to help in the community as part of a Keswick School project.
The trio, who all enjoy sport, decided to do the walk and chose one charity each to support.
The money they raised will be split between Alzheimer's Society, Hospice at Home West Cumbria and Make a Wish Foundation UK.
