Girl, 10, struck by van
A 10-year-old girl who was hit by a van in Maryport is in hospital.
She was taken to the Royal Victoria Infirmary in Newcastle but her injuries are not thought to be life- threatening.
The Ford Transit van, driven by a 32-year-old, collided with the 10-year-old on Victory Crescent.
Police were called to the scene just before 8pm yesterday.
