Church treasurer Rose Lewis helped raise more than £500 with her knitted Bible characters earlier this year and has now added more, including Moses, Adam and Eve, and Cain and Abel.
Dearham residents have been asked to donate what they can towards the upkeep and running of the historic church.
They have been invited to bring donations between 10am and 2pm.
Ms Lewis said: “I have a dream that every household in Dearham would set up a direct debit of £1 a month then neither the Methodist Chapel or St Mungo’s would have to worry about money again.”
