Youth organisations in and around Maryport will take part in a march to mark St George’s Day on Sunday.
Youngsters from groups including Scouts, Guides, Brownies, boys’ and girls’ clubs and sea cadets will take part in the event.
It will start from Fleming Square at 2.30pm.
The march, led by Flimby Saxhorn Silver Band, will begin by heading to Memorial Gardens, where a wreath-laying cemetery is planned at around 2.45pm to 3pm.
It will then continue to South Quay for a flag-raising ceremony outside Maryport Navy Club.
The event has been organised by the Rotary Club of Maryport.
It follows a similar march two years ago and was organised at the request of the area’s young people.
Around 100 people are expected to take part in the march and the Rotary club is urging the community to turn out to support the youngsters.
