A motocross rider was airlifted with serious injuries after a crash.
The 28-year-old man, from Alston, was flown to hospital with chest injuries after yesterday's crash.
The rider came off at a bend and collided with his bike at the Dean Moor Motocross Park, between Gilgarran and Lamplugh, in west Cumbria.
He was treated at the scene by event medics and the the Great North Air Ambulance Service (GNAAS) trauma team.
The man was then flown to the Cumberland Infirmary, in Carlisle, where he arrived in a stable condition.
The crash happened at 12.30pm.
The air ambulance was called to the same event last year, following a crash.
