MARYPORT Amateur Operatic and Dramatic Society needs a musical director for its next show.
The society's senior section and its new junior section, Spotlight, will join to present the Wizard of Oz next year.
While the Scarecrow, the Tinman and the Lion may be looking for a brain, a heart and courage, the search for a musical director is taking priority at the moment.
Mark Hazzard, who has directed the last two shows, has retired because of work commitments.
Whoever takes on the role would be expected to be ready to start rehearsals in January.
These are usually held on a Sunday afternoon and extra evening rehearsals as the opening night draws nearer.
