Peace scholar to give talk
A peace scholar who has worked on international projects will be giving a talk near Workington on Tuesday.
Jody-Ann Anderson has been invited by the Rotary clubs of Whitehaven Castle and Workington.
The lunchtime presentation will take place at Hunday Manor Hotel, Winscales, from 12.30pm to 2.30pm. Everyone is welcome.
There will also be an exhibition celebrating 100 years of Rotary Foundation.
A buffet meal is available for £13.50 per head and must be booked by contacting Mary Bradley on 01900 824973.
