WORKINGTON Reds faced play-off heartbreak as Salford City came from behind to snatch a dramatic win in the dying minutes.
Reds had a 2-1 lead at half time in the Evo-Stik premier division play-off final thanks to a Kyle May header and Gareth Arnison goal.
But Salford struck back to equalise in the final quarter and then bagged the winner with four minutes remaining to clinch a 3-2 win and promotion.
It was a cruel blow for a Reds side who gave their all.
