A group of Cockermouth School pupils are helping refugees keep warm this winter.
The school's human rights group has organised a collection point where people can leave goods which will then be transported to the refugee camps in Calais.
Eloise Lawler, of year 12, said: "Donations of warm clothes and blankets are the main focus with the idea of helping people stay warm.
"Donations can be dropped off at the school reception between 3.20pm and 4pm, until next Friday, December 4.
"The donations are being sent to refugee camps in Calais specifically, through the organisation Carlisle Action Group."
