Entries have started coming in for CN Group’s #SpiritofCumbria Awards.
And we want to receive more of them to ensure that those who did so much to help others get the recognition they deserve.
With the support of Sellafield Ltd and United Utilities, we will be honouring the county’s flood heroes – but we need you to tell us who they are.
Marie Whitehead, director of CN Events, will chair the judging panel and has been impressed by what we have seen.
“It’s really touching to hear the lengths people have gone to – and continue to go to – to help friends, family, neighbours and perfect strangers,” she said.
The nominations so far are testament to the #SpiritofCumbria and we are sure there are many more tales that people still have to tell us.”
The closing date for nominations is Monday, May 30.
