Maryport Round Table has £4,737.79 to hand out to good causes thanks to its Christmas collections in the town.
Last year the fund-raising group built a new sleigh to transport Santa for the collections, which took place in the town and surrounding villages.
Its efforts were supported by Wilmott Dixon, Jon Stynes Design, Maryport Kitchens, Bell Group, Travis Perkins, Britain's Energy Coast, Cockermouth Fab Lab, Maryport Bodywork Centre and Kevin Thompson Haulage.
It is now looking to distribute the cash.
Previous donations have been made to sports teams, community groups and individuals looking to fund projects or good causes.
Mark Dawson, chairman, said: "One hundred per cent of the money raised is donated to good causes and local community groups who take the time to write to us and ask for funding.
"Sadly in recent times requests have been dropping in number so we would like to ask the community to ask Round Table for support."
