Sunday's Touch a Truck event in Cockermouth has been cancelled.
A forecast of heavy rain and high winds has forced organisers to call off the event.
Joe Fagan, of Cockermouth Rotary Club, said: "The Met Office is forecasting heavy rain and strong winds all that day and we have decided the show has to be cancelled.
"We intend to stage the show later this summer when hopefully sunny skies make it the family fun day we all hope for.
"Profuse apologies to all those exhibitors who had offered to give their time and exhibits for the show."
