The first Workington Touchdown Festival was a sold-out success.
The festival took place on Saturday at the Union Jack Club on Senhouse Street and headliners were Colt 45.
Friends Thomas McNichol, 22, of Grey Street, Workington, and Andrew Hymers, 22, of Hazelgrove, Seaton, organised the event.
Thomas said: "It was crazy, two weeks before we had only sold about 40 tickets and then people were turned away on the night."
Andrew said: "I was so excited, I couldn't believe that so many people came."
Ten local bands performed on two stages at the venue.
The friends are planning to organise other events during the year and repeat the festival next summer.
