Violinists Jonathan and Carolyn Sparey will perform at Crosthwaite Church, Keswick on Thursday at 7.30pm.
The pair, whose parents Leslie and Joan founded Keswick Music Society nearly 70 years ago, will play the file concert in the current series at the church.
Jonathan became well known as a member of the Fitzwilliam Quartet and Carolyn played principal viola with the Scottish Chamber Orchestra and the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra.
At this concern they will play music by baroque composer Georg Telemann and 20th century Hungarian composer Bela Bartok, interspersed with works by 19th century French composer Jacque-Féréol Mazas and folk song arrangements by Bill Thorpe.
Entry is £6, payable on the door in exchange for a programme.
