Ewanrigg Junior School in Maryport was a sea of life-saving orange last week.
The school marked Go Orange Day, raising funds for Maryport Inshore Rescue ad the RNLI lifeboat at Workington.
The children raised nearly £250 through a coin trail and by baking cupcakes to sell.
Teaching assistant Dawn Wallace gave the children some practical maths cookery lessons making the chocolate orange cup cakes.
Maryport Inshore Rescue visited the school and gave a demonstration.
