A youth drop in has been launched in Cockermouth.
Fourteen people attended Amplified@The Hub last Friday at The Hub in Market Place.
It will run fortnightly, with the next one on Friday, May 19.
Games and food were on offer at the free event for secondary school children.
It is being run by the town's King's Church and the Network Youth Church, with funding from Cumbria County Council.
From 4pm to 6pm, youngsters can enjoy bacon butties and table top games. From 7pm to 9pm there will be X-box games, music and refreshments.
Paul Mogford, of King's Church, said: "There's very little youth provision in the town so we thought this was a good idea.
"We want to entertain the kids and keep them off the streets.
"We had 14 kids last week over all, so I saw that as a good start."
