School pals are reunited
Last updated at 20:01, Thursday, 12 July 2012
More than 40 former pupils of Cockermouth Grammar School and Derwent School attended a reunion on Friday.
The event at Hundith Hill Hotel, for people who attended the schools between 1977 and 1982, was held to mark 30 years after they left.
Organised by Sheena Zirins and Allison Skillen, it featured a disco but was mainly intended as an opportunity for former pupils to catch up after three decades.
Most of those who attended were local, but Euan Campbell travelled from York for the event.
A raffle raised £200 for Cockermouth Mountain Rescue Team.
