being a small business owner, the importance of success should always be rewarded, however the timing of such rewards is important. this shows how out of touch this council is!

just like the motorist and the goverment,council tax payers are the council cash cows.
i expect when i get my new council tax bill that every penny they spend is itemised.

Not forgetting that the current pay freeze for workers ends in 2013 BUT followed by 1% cap on rises for a further 2 years.

I see nothings changed in allerdale council I thought these people do this council job to make things better for the people of allerdale but as usual it's just away of making a good living they are all the same look after no 1

So typical of an (ex?)Union guy to completely ignore what is happening in the real world and strut around with his gilt-edged pay and pension package while the rest of us work to support him.
We need more commercially aware people in the Council who understand that their funding comes from real people, not the generic "taxpayer" who is an easy target to hit.
