Planning appeals are on the rise in Allerdale

The number of planning appeals lodged against Allerdale council almost doubled in a year, new figures show. Between June 2011 and May 2012 there were 19 appeals lodged against planning decisions made by the council. That rose to 35 being lodged over the following 12 months.
