Double world champion Kyle Bickley romped to victory in the first round of the British Youth Championship in Glasgow on Sunday.
Riders competed in 500cc, 250cc, 150cc and 125cc classes, having four qualifying heats each with the four highest scorers progressing to the final.
Kyle, 14, of Workington, won all five of his races in the 500cc class.
James Hitchen, 15, of Dearham, notched two seconds and a last and suffered an engine failure in another heat so did not reach the final.
Corbin Pavitt, 13, of Maryport, scored seven points in his qualifying heats with two wins, a third-place finish and a last in the 125cc class, narrowly missing out on a place in the final.
