Motorbike maestros were celebrated at Workington Comets' annual end-of-season presentation night on Friday.
Workington No1 Ricky Wells was a triple winner after a terrific second season in Comets colours, scooping the Rider of the Year trophy for the second year in a row.
Wells also took the Colin Dickinson Memorial Shield for the most points in heat 15 and the gong for most improved average.
Entertaining Dane Kenneth Hansen won the trophy for most rider of the night nominations and the richly deserved Mel Pettit Trophy for most entertaining rider.
Veteran Matty Wethers clinched the award for most bonus points this season.
And after pledging to save the club's future despite one of the most frustrating season’s since the sport returned to the town in 1999, Comets owner Laura Morgan won the Ian Thomas Trophy for services to Workington speedway.
