The Dane dominated on his competitive debut for Comets, scoring a paid maximum as they secured their first League Cup points of the season.
Vissing missed most of last season after a horror crash while riding for Berwick and he admitted he was just happy to be back riding his bike in the Premier League.
“It felt okay,” he said.
“No, I’m kidding, it was great to be back on track and get a whole meeting under my belt.
“Last Sunday against Berwick wasn’t really the best for anyone with the bad weather.
“Obviously I didn’t expect to have such a good meeting but I do everything I can every meeting and it paid off.
“I always liked to come to Workington, it’s a nice circuit.”
The West Cumbrians travel to Redcar for the reverse tie tonight (7.30pm start) before in-form Newcastle arrive on Saturday (7pm start), but Vissing is concentrating on his own form rather than worrying about rivals. He said: “I think we’ve got a strong side and as long as everybody can keep banging in some points we’re going to be really hard to beat at home.
“Hopefully we can get some away wins too.”
He also reserved some praise for fellow Dane Rasmus Jensen, who he tipped for big things after an impressive first meeting at Workington.
He said: “I always knew Rasmus would do well and he can still improve a lot so I think he’s going to be one of our main men this year.”
