Feds are just too fast

Liverpool Feds 4

Windscale Ladies 1

Windscale got off to a cracking start putting in some strong challenges on Liverpool Feds.

But after a couple of corners to Liverpool the pressure began to mount on Windscale. Feds saw a gap in the defence and used the opportunity to take the lead.

Windscale then struggled to keep up and Feds added their second before the long-awaited whistle for half time.

The start of the second half looked promising. Windscale passing the ball around well even as the heavens opened leaving the pitch slowly turning into to a mud bath. And it was soon game on, after a stunning through ball from Catriona Simpson found Sharon Cameron who dribbled with the ball and slotted it in the left corner to make it 2-1. After battling hard against a Liverpool team sitting high in the table Windscale found it wasn't their day and Feds added two more goals to make the end result 4-1 but after the final whistle Windscale left the pitch with their heads held high. Player of the game went to Josephine Grant. This Sunday Windscale are at home to Penrith in the Semi final of the League Shield KO 2pm
