Two six-goal wins for Netherhall

DEFENDING Tesco Cumberland League premiership champions Netherhall hit two teams for six.
Wednesday last week they were 6-1 winners at Whitehaven AFC and then on Saturday on home ground beat Carlisle City 6-3.
In other games last Wednesday Salterbeck won 6-2 at Cockermouth with goals from Andrew Rowntree (2), Andrew Bromley (2), Wayne Brash and Arthur Pearce. Richard Williamson scored Cockermouth’s goals.
Daniel Crayton and Craig Wilson were Aspatria scorers as they beat Longtown 2-0 while Wigton were 3-1 winners at Mirehouse.
In the Divisional Cup Frizington beat Cleator Moor Celtic 3-1 and in division one Whitehaven Miners had a 3-0 win over Parton Utd.
On Saturday in the CFM Whitehaven Cup semis-finals Cleator Moor Celtic lost again to Frizington, this time 2-1, and Aspatria beat Cockermouth 1-0.
In the premier Netherhall beat Carlisle City 6-3, Salterbeck surprisingly lost 5-0 at home to Longtown, Mirehouse beat Silloth 4-3, and Hearts v Wigton was postponed.

Divisional Cup semi-finals: Frizinmgton v Windscale, Whitehaven Miners v Cleator Moor Celtic.
